I can’t believe that it will be Christmas Day in 3 days! Where has the year gone?
I’m celebrating with lots of Christmas music this year. I can’t choose a favourite so I’m giving you my 2019 Christmas top 5...
1- Mariah Carey -All I Want For Christmas Is You.
Did you know this song has gone to number one in the USA this week! Somehow... I just want to eat crisps when I hear this now!
2- Wham - Last Christmas.
Sadly, George Michael passed away a couple of years ago but this song is played lots on the radio. There’s even a film called Last Christmas at the cinema that features George’s music
3- Robbie Williams and Jamie Cullum - Merry Xmas Everybody
These two superstars have covered the Slade classic this year. I saw them on the Royal Variety performance and they sounded lovely.
4- Bing Crosby - White Christmas.
I was a much younger Granny Norbag when Bing performed this for the first time in 1941. This song is officially the best selling record in the world EVER!!!
5- Kylie Minogue and Frank Sinatra - Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.
I remember when Frank was singing about New York and a young Kylie was starring as Charline in Neighbours. This song is amazing and their voices work so well together. A modern classic!
